Islamabad – Pakistan, Feb 18, 2013: The 11th National Men’s Netball Championship 2013 started on today at Hamidi Hall, PSB Sports Complex Islamabad jointly organized by Pakistan Netball Federation & Higher Education Commission, in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board.
Capt (R) Zafar Iqbal Awan, President, Pakistan Netball Federation was the chief guest in opening ceremony and declared the championship open in very colorful atmosphere. Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera, Ahmad Yahya Khan, DG Sports, HEC, Col. Shujaat Ali Rana, President, PJF, Major Muhammad Afzal, Secretary, PVF, Lt Col® Majid Waseem, President, PWF, Malik Sameen Khan, SVP, PNF, Azam Dar, Director (NF) PSB, Mudassar Arain, Secretary, PNF , Col ® Zafar Ahmed and other dignities were also present in this occasion.
Opening match was played between Punjab and KPK teams. Punjab won the match by 40-14 goals. Shahzad sultan and Yasir Mohmood were performed outstanding performance from Punjab team.

1. Police beat Fata by 38-13 goals
2. Army beat Baluchistan by 65-15 goals
3. Sindh beat Islamabad by 39-8 goals
4. Air Force beat Fata by 49-10 goals.
The technical officials namely Maqbool Ahmed, Khalid Parvez, Anwar Ahmed, Qudsia Raja, Ansar Ahmed, Sohail Ahmed, Said Nawaz & Habib ur Rehman were supervized the matches.
