BODA News, On October 12: Abdalla Al Zari Director General Sharjah Transport of the United Arab Emirates, visited BODA and learned the transportation management experience in holding the Paralympics, making preparations for the International Wheelchair Games for the disabled in December of 2012.
Mr. Yu Chunquan, vice director of Beijing Traffic Management Bureau and former director of Transportation department of BOCOG, answered the questions on transportation operation during the Paralympics in 2008. He introduced that the early overall plan, thorough organization, meticulous service in Games-time and efficient emergency response plan ensured the high level of transportation of the Beijing Paralympic Games.
Mr. Abdalla M.Al-Zari expressed his thanks to the support and help of providing the rich experience in Games Organization of Beijing. Mr. Wu Jingmi, secretary general of BODA, introduced the information of BODA. He said, BODA has provided broad services on Games organization relying on the expert group of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, to carry on Olympic legacy and spread Olympic knowledge.
