Kohat, Pakistan, Oct 15, 2018: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judo Association in collaboration with District Judo Association and Divisional Sports Officer Kohat has organized 13th Inter Divisional Judo Championships from 13th to 14th October 2018 at Kohat Sports Complex Gulshanabad.
In the Championship 7 divisions i.e., Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, D.I. Khan, Hazara, and Malakand with 64 Athlethes 16 Team Officials and 8 Technical Officials.
The championship was held in 4 different categories of Men (-60, -66, -73 and +73 kg) and women (-44, -48, -52, and -63kg) each.
The Championship inaugurated by Divisional Sports Officer Saqlain Shah, Chairman Karwan e Amal (NGO) Saleem Altaf Advocate, President of KP Judo Association Masood Ahmad and Muhammad Jalal General Secretary KP Judo Association.

Peshawar with total 90 Points by getting 5 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal, got first position.
Kohat with total 55 points by Securing 2 Gold, 01 Silver and 3 Bronze got second while Hazara with 1 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze with total 50 points got 3rd Position.
The performance of Imran Khan and Waheed from Peshawar were well.
Farid Saqlain, Nazim of Kohat was the chief guest to the closing ceremony.
He along with President of KP Judo Association Masood Ahmad and District Sport Officer Saqlain Shah distributed the medals among the winner as well as souvenirs among Team Official and Technical Officials.
The President of KP Judo Association and the Vice President of Pakistan Judo Federation Masood Ahmad appreciated to DSO, and the Faqir Awan Chairman Organizing Committee.
He said that it was our first experience to organize the event of man and women in Kohat. Insha Allah such events will organize in Kohat in future to hunt the talent from the area.
