Lahore – Pakistan, Feb 25, 2013: Former Pakistan Women National Football Team Manager & Football Coach Uzma Yousaf Zaidi of Lahore School of Economics has awarded with International DFB Coaching Course (B-Level). She was nominated by Pakistan Football Federation to participate in the course which was held in Hennes- Weisweiler Academy in Hennef on April/ May 2012 organized by Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB).
According to PFF, President, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat admired Ms. Uzma of becoming the B- Level Certified coach. He desired that she will implement the key fundamentals learnt from the course for the development of football in Pakistan.
The ceremony was organized at the German Embassy in Islamabad which was also attended by Wing Cdr. ® Pervaiz Saeed Mir, Director Development & Competition. Ms. Uzma received the certificate from Dr. Thomas Ditt, First Secretary, Head of Press and Cultural Section at German Embassy in Islamabad.
Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB) twice a year organize such coaching courses and invite coaches from different parts of the world to experience modern football tactics and training methods. The aim of such courses is to educate coaches to implement those modern methods in their own countries.
