Islamabad – Pakistan, June 8, 2012: Anum Bandey, It is indeed with immense pleasure to announce that two swimmers (1 male and 1 female) from Pakistan have finally been selected by the FINA (based on their performance in 14th FINA World Championships, Shanghai China 2011) to participate on Universality Places for the swimming competition at the 2012 Olympic Games.
The FINA has confirmed entries for the swimmers as follows:

Israr Hussain (M) 100 M Freestyle 57.69
Anum Bandey (W) 400 M Individual Medley 5:37.11 (New National Record)
The Pakistan Swimming Federation and the Pakistan Women’s Swimming Association wishes both swimmers a great success at the Games and would also like to thank the Pakistan Olympic Association who have extended all possible support to the Federation to help achieve this mile stone.
