Miami, April 15, 2016: The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) informs media that the accreditation process for media availability following the XXXI CONCACAF Ordinary Congress is open to all media as of today, Friday, April 15, 2016.
The Ordinary Congress is set to take place on Thursday, May 12 in Mexico City, Mexico, at the Intercontinental Presidente Hotel. A press conference and general media opportunity will follow the event, with exact details and timings to be communicated to accredited media.
Media members can apply to attend the media availability by visiting this link and by filling out the application in its entirety. Note that incomplete applications will not be considered.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of Friday, May 6, 2016 at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CST) for all applicants. Please note that the system will permanently close and no applications can be processed after this deadline. Applicants should also take into account that early applications are more likely to be successful, as space is limited.
Approved applicants will receive an email notification when a decision is made, at the latest by Monday, May 9 at 6:00 PM ET (5:00 PM CST). Please do not contact CONCACAF requesting information on individual applications before this time; as such requests will not be answered.
Absolutely NO WALK-UP CREDENTIALS WILL BE APPROVED. Please do not come to the venue planning to perform a media function without prior confirmation of approval of the accreditation application.
