By Sujit Jasani from Lausanne, Switzerland, November 19, 2015: The Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Bid Committee has expressed its thanks to the IOC for hosting a bidding workshop for 2024 Candidate Cities this week in Lausanne, at which the high level delegation picked up a number of key learnings about the IOC’s vision for the 2024 Games, the importance of sustainable development and ensuring the project is linked with the long term vision for the city and country.

These horrific events have strengthened our resolve and determination to host an amazing Game for the world in 2024, help promote positive Olympic values and spread the message of peace through sport.”
