Lausanne, Nov 3, 2014: FIFA is pleased to announce that the accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the Final Draw of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ will take place via the FIFA Media Channel from 3 November to 21 November 2014.
The draw ceremony will take place at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa-Gatineau on 6 December 2014 at 12.00 (local time).
The media accreditation process for the written press and photographers wishing to cover the event is now open via the FIFA Media Channel.
FIFA Media Rights Licensees confirmed for this event will be contacted directly by the FIFA Broadcaster Servicing Team and are requested to submit their completed accreditation form to FIFABroadcasterServicing@fifa.org
In order to facilitate the coverage of media events during the days preceding the draw, applications via the FIFA Media Channel will also be accepted from Non-Rights Holders (NRHs, media entities that have not acquired the rights to the broadcast coverage of the event).
Please note that on the day of the draw, NRHs will have access to the Media Centre but not to any activities in the draw hall (the actual draw ceremony venue and the mixed zone).
