PFF-U 13 Football Youth Cup-2013

Lahore – Pakistan, Jan 22, 2013: AREA, As a part of AFC AID-27 Financial Assistant Programme, in the first phase, trials, training and coaching camp for PFF U-13 Football Youth Cup-2013 has already started which is going to be held from 27th January to 31st January, 2013. After the completion of the PFF U-13 Football Youth Cup the four best teams will qualified for PFF U-13 Football Festival.

According to Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), under the supervision of Area Coordinators, the following coaches will select the teams to participate in AID-27 Youth Football Cup-2013.

From Punjab Province Mr. Muhammad Rasheed, Bilal Butt and Siddique Qadri (Lahore Red), Mr. Zahid Niaz and Mr. Asghar Khan Anjum (Lahore Blue), Mr. Muhammad Habib and Mr. Shahzad Anwar (Lahore-Faisalabad Zone), Numan Ibrahim and Altaf Hussain (Faisalabad-Sargodha Zone), from Sindh Province Mr. Hassan Baloch and Mr. Khalid Nawaz (Karachi Blue), Mr. Muhammad Javed (Karachi Red), Mr. Zahid Taj and Mr. Javed Somroo (Karachi-Hyderabad Zone), from KPK Province Mr. Saeed Ullah and Mr. Fazal-e-Ghaffar (Banu-Dir Zone), Mr. Saghir Muhammad and Saleem Khan (Peshawar-Nowshera Zone) and from Islamabad and Balochistan Province Mr. Muhammad Asghar and Mr. Muhammad Karim (Quetta Zone), Mr. Muhammad Dawood and Mr. Essa Khan (Chaman-Quetta Zone) and Mr. Najeeb Ullah Najmi and Mr. Abdul Sattar (Pindi-Islamabad Zone).

Area coordinators for AID-27 coaches are Mr. Shahzad Anwar for Punjab, Sajjad Mahmood Khan for Islamabad & Balochistan Province, Mr. Gohar Zaman for KPK province and Mr. Nasir Ismail for Sindh. They are responsible to supervise the selection, training camp and Youth Cup in their area for better performance of the players and coaches. Moreover, Area Coordinators are also responsible to update PFF with all aspects of selection, camp training, team building and performance of all team coaches of Youth Cup and U-13 Festival.

AFCAID-27 Programme (AID27) was started in 1996 by AFC to help the participating Member Associations in order to develop football at the grassroots and youth level as well as to promote women’s football and futsal by ensuring that more qualified coaches are employed, enhancing the education of those involved in the game, assisting in the employment of administrative staff and increasing participation of the national teams at AFC Youth Competitions and Festivals of Football.
